‘Bertie’s was founded off of the back of owner Mark Burnage’s very own wedding in 2016. Mark had been lovingly restoring Bertie (a VW T2 Splitscreen) since he was first purchased off a scrap heap over 25 years previously. 

Since then Bertie has been invited to cater for friends’ and family’s weddings as well as other events. Through word of mouth and social media, Bertie found his niche – and so Bertie’s Wedding Hire was born.

Now immaculate inside and out, Bertie has a completely handmade interior with signature hibiscus flooring hand-carved by Mark himself. The upholstery has been custom-made in colours to co-ordinate with the stunning exterior and, of course, flowers and ribbons in your bridal colours provide the finishing touches on the day.
