"Absolute first class service, extremely professional and fantastic to deal with, highly recommended"
"Absolutely amazing service, our event couldn't have run any smoother. Will 100% be using these guys again for our future events. Thanks so much for all your hard work."
" Wow, where to start!
A HUGE Thank You!
We just wanted to take a moment to say a MASSIVE thank you for arranging such a wonderful, well-organised, and absolutely beautiful wedding fair. From start to finish, it was faultless, impeccably organised, and spot on—truly one of the best events we’ve ever had the pleasure of exhibiting at!
The stunning setting of the RHS Garden Room made it even more special. The elegant surroundings, combined with the natural beauty of the gardens, created the perfect backdrop for such a magical event. It’s no wonder couples were inspired—it was a dream come true for anyone planning their big day!
Your attention to detail, from the layout to the flow of the day, was second to none. Everything ran so smoothly, and it was clear how much thought and care went into making it such a success. You’ve set the bar incredibly high, and we’re so grateful to have been part of it.
Thank you for creating such a fantastic opportunity for us to meet with couples and showcase what we do. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
With heartfelt thanks,
Sam & Andy"
"The wedding event at Rosemoor was incredible to be a part of. With so many incredible vendors under one roof and so many interesting couples to chat to its an event not to be missed by anyone! I personally cant wait for the new weddings i have signed onto."
" A huge thank you and your team, too! It was a wonderful weekend and the venue at Rosemoor was just perfect!
I’m so glad the weather was on our side!!! It made the gardens even more beautiful!
I can't thank you enough again for all of your hard work! It was a very successful weekend and lots of enquiries have come in already too!"
"I would like to say a huge thank you to you for helping me exhibit at Rosemoor this weekend.
You have been so welcoming, helpful and friendly. As a new business this was my first ever opportunity to exhibit my chocolate business and I must admit to being more than a bit nervous leading up to the Wedding Fayre, but the minute we arrived we were made to feel really welcome and relaxed.
The venue was stunning, light and airy, with beautiful views of the gardens, we couldn't have asked for more. Were able to chat and exchange our business details with our fellow exhibitors who were all friendly and great fun!
Over the weekend, we met some lovely bridal couples and their families and friends and I have already received my first order for chocolates!
Thank you to you and the team at Rosemoor for all your help and support. We would love to return again for any events in the future.
Hope to see you again soon."
" Thank you Lucy for organising it was an excellent event well organised and had a good footfall of genuine wedding enquiries.
The wonderful weather helped and Rosemoor is an ideal venue with free parking definitely worth holding another one there. "
" Loved every moment.

Can't wait for the next one!"
" Fantastic event with some real show-stopper wedding suppliers! "
" Great to work with, would highly recommend them.
Very friendly and competent organisers who would make any event a pleasure to organise and be a part of."
" Faultless absolutely faultless and second to no one "
""The Great Torrington Town and Community Hall has worked with Lucy Lowe and her Team in a number of events for the community over the past 3 years.
This includes a very established Christmas Fayre, Food and Drink Fair, Wedding Fairs and Nourish - a health and well being event for the Community. These have been promoted and run with a great deal of care and professionalism.
We were particularly pleased she used the Town Hall for the RainBo Music Trust to hold a music day in Torrington in 2023. We had facilities to use 3 different rooms and disabled facilities for various workshops open to everyone, culminating in a concert at the end of the day."
"In the latter part of last year, I attended 2 events held in the Torrington pannier market.
One being at Halloween when there was an event for the children, doing pumpkin carving, painting, stone painting, drawing etc.
The amount of effort that went in this event was astounding, Sam dressed up, the pannier market was decorated with all things ‘Halloween’ and it was delightful to see the pannier market 'thriving’ and being at the heart of the community.
I am sure that many children and parents found it to be so refreshing to find such a well organised and thoughtful event and the bonus of it being so local added to the joy. I am sure that some of the children attending would not otherwise have been able to carve a pumpkin, possibly due to financial constraints so therefore felt included and valued. A really successful and valued event.
The other event was just before Christmas, much like the Halloween event, there had been much thought that had gone into the preparations and organisation.
The pannier market was packed, hearing the music and the children’s laughter was just wonderful, Father Christmas was there, children got a free gift and were able to mix with others, many from different towns, villages and schools thus bringing our surrounding communities together and creating a safe and ‘exciting’ environment for our younger people.
Many adults were there too, mostly with their children, or grandchildren in my case, but also much older members of the community who gathered to see the children enjoying the event in the pannier market that they had frequented for many years. The even was ‘uplifting’ and very inclusive also.
The pannier market brings the opportunities for many more events such as these, funding would undoubtedly make a huge difference and would allow more laughter and joy to occur at the heart of our town."
"I have 4 grandsons of varying ages and they all absolutely loved the circus workshop, the guy doing it was really helpful in showing each child the knack of whatever they were trying.
Also our two youngest enjoyed the puppet show on a different occasion"
" My son and his cousin love these events they are great for local families and the entertainment is brilliant, too "
" I used to bring my grandchildren and they really enjoyed it. Its really lovely to have some free events for families."
" Always a great venue to attend and be apart of. Lucy and the team always put 100% into making events amazing there. Wayne from Bounce and Beyond - Bouncy Castle Hire "
"Trading in this market is a lifeline for me. As a retiree I needed something to do and trading here has been a godsend.
Other traders and customers are brilliant. The market is a walk through for dog walkers and I adore dogs.
I now have at least 12 dogs who come to me for treats each week from me. "
"I really enjoy working with Lucy and her team, I am a volunteer steward for Lucy. Thanks"
" Fantastic job on the Bideford Light Switch On - day and night. And the other events as well."
“Why does free entertainment help?
Torridge is one of the most deprived areas on the South West, parents are struggling both financially and mentally.
Watching the entertainment in the pannier market is providing respite for parents and providing laughter and fun for the children.
The implications of this are that, parents go home refreshed and are able to face their situation with a clearer head.”
“I am a local resident of Torrington and regularly attend the Torrington Pannier Market.
It has a great selection of stalls selling a variety of goods some of which are made or grown locally. It is an essential feature of Torrington not only for locals but for visitors as well.
Torrington has many visitors for the Plough and hopefully more will be attracted when the Globe takes off.
We need more attractions to Torrington not less if we want to make it a thriving community. A lot more houses are being built so there will be more residents.
The market is an essential service for the community.”
